Bose was very conscious of design when it created its QuietComfort 35 II headphones. They measure 7.1" tall by 6.7", and 8.3 ounces. This makes them very portable. Bose has doubled down on portability with a hinge-like swinging design that connects the 3.2 inch-deep earcups and the headband. This allows you to rotate the earcups in any direction you like. It also makes it easier to store your headphones inside the carrying case, as they will not take up much space.

The company realized that QuietComfort 35 II headphones might be used on long flights or at work so they have optimized their comfort. According to Bose, the QuietComfort 35 II features a suede-like material known as Alcantara for the adjustable headband. This fabric is similar to what you would find in high-end vehicles and yachts. It's now common to find this material on other gadgets such as laptop covers or keyboards for Microsoft's Surface line.
The QuietComfort 35 II headphones sound great regardless of whether or not the noise-canceling function was on.
Earcups made of synthetic protein leather feel soft and comfortable even after long hours of wear. Bose claims that these sturdy earcups are 'impact resistant', making them less susceptible to being damaged in the event of a fall.
These headphones are very comfortable overall. And when we used them over extended periods — weeks and weeks of use — they didn't cause any discomfort or strain.

Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones have a lot of technology. It's specifically designed to reduce ambient noise and provide the highest audio quality. They delivered both, we think.
Acoustic noise cancelling technology is used to protect the headphones. This means the headphones are constantly measuring the ambient noise in the environment. The headphones send the opposing signal to your ears, which cancels out ambient noises almost perfectly.
The noise cancelling was tested in several environments including an office with no traffic and noisy children, as well as a busy street. Bose's QuietComfort 35 II headphones can be used to cancel out any background noise. This creates a true immersive audio experience that includes music and conversation. These headphones significantly muffled ambient noise in areas that were too noisy, making them almost an afterthought.
The headphones will automatically activate the noise cancelling feature when you turn on using the switch at the right earcup. The best feature of the headphones is their ability to change the level of noise cancellation based on what you are hearing. You can choose the lowest setting if you are at work but still need to be able hear your colleagues. You can turn it up to block out traffic sounds as you go out for lunch.
The feature works exactly as prescribed — you can definitely notice the difference between the three settings. The QuietComfort 35 II headphones sound great, regardless of whether or not the noise-cancelling feature is turned on. We heard voices clearly in podcasts we loved, and music that was played were clear and crisp.
Bose's proprietary TriPort acoustic headphones structure is used to deliver the best audio experience. The pair optimizes audio performance by combining design elements with high-end components. It works very well.
Bose comes with a tutorial that will help you set up Bluetooth pairing between headphones and your smartphone. This tutorial makes pairing devices easy and is extremely well-done. In no time, you'll be able to enjoy music.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Bluetooth headphones allow for wireless listening to music and podcasts. Bose does not guarantee Bluetooth range, as wireless signals can be easily affected by other devices in the home. However, our wireless performance was exceptional.
To measure the distance the sound would travel, we left our iPhone X music source in one room. It was stable across all floors and rooms. The headphones worked well even when used for phone calls with the QuietComfort 35 II.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones have a lot of technology. It's specifically designed to reduce ambient noise and provide the highest audio quality. They delivered both, we think.
These headphones can be used wirelessly, but wired connections are also possible. To allow you to listen to your music even when your phone's battery is low, the headphones include a cable.
QuietComfort 35 II includes a new Action Button. This button gives you greater control of the products in your environment. It is located behind your left earcup and easy to find. When you activate it — by pressing and holding the button down — you'll be able to access either Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
If you own a Google Home or compatible Alexa-powered device, you can use your voice to turn on music and find what's up next in your calendar.
This feature is very useful and allows you to access the content that you are interested in without having to use your phone. To use the feature, you will need to have either Google Assistant or Alexa installed on your smartphone.
The Action Button is a quick way to adjust the noise cancelling levels in your headphones even if you are not an Alexa user or Google Assistant user.
Bose claims that the QuietComfort 35 II headphones will last 20 hours. We found this promise to be true. They lasted for an entire day without any issues and still had enough power to last into the night. These headphones also have fast charging technology that adds 2.5 hours to the battery's life after only 15 minutes.
Bose headphones can be used with both Android and iPhone versions of the Connect app. This free app allows you to connect your headphones, and provides a range of useful tools. The app can adjust your volume or cancel out noise while you listen to music. You can also personalize your settings — if someone else happens to use your headphones, you can simply boot up the app and quickly get back to your desired preferences.
Bose's QuietComfort 35 II headphones can be used to eliminate ambient noise in certain cases. This creates an immersive audio experience that includes music, talk, and sound.
Bosee offers tips through the app, and allows you to test out new features. You can also use the app for syncing your Bose headphones to another Bose headset. This allows you to stream the same content from both headphones if you wish.
Connect is well-designed, easy to use and has a wide range of impressive features. It was very easy to set the right settings and adjust the volume quickly while the headphones were still on. It can sometimes be difficult to use an app to control headphones. Once you've got your headphones setup, you can use the Connect app to control them.
Bose's QuietComfort 35 II headphones cost $349.95, which is the same price as last year. You'll be pleased to know that the QuietComfort 35 I headphones are still available. This is a bit disappointing considering their high price. Despite this, it's comparable to other high-end headphones, such as the similar-priced Sony WH-1100XM3.
You can find cheaper alternatives, such as the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 or Anker Soundcore NC. However, you will notice a decrease in sound quality and noise cancellation quality the lower you get. The QuietComfort 35 II is a great value for money.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II is a great pair of headphones. But, it doesn't have all the best. Bose's WH-1000XM3 is comparable in quality and price to the aforementioned Sony WH-11000XM3. The WH-100XM3 is a high-end audiophile product that offers a variety of features, including a noise-canceling processing processor and support for audio protocols with higher resolutions.
Sony also offers a variety of software options that allow you to adjust the sound according to your environment, even down to the atmospheric pressure (for airplanes). There is also a button to activate voice assistants. However, the controls for the earcups are mostly swipe gestures. They tend to be more difficult than Bose’s physical buttons.
