Since we were told to stay put, I have had more time to play the latest PC games. Hellblade, Senua's Sacrifice is one of my favorite games. It uses surround sound audio to create a haunting and immersive environment. This is where Logitech's gaming headset line excels—in particular, with the G Pro X Gaming Headset.
It's both well-built with velour and memory foam leatherette earpads and an aluminum frame. The comfort was not what surprised me, but the quality of the sound and the voice. Continue reading for more thoughts about performance and audio quality.

It was so simple that I was shocked when I took the headset out from the box. The Pro-G Drivers logo is visible on the side of each earpiece. The headset's other colors are black. The cords run from the earpieces to the headband. They disappear into the aluminum headband which is padded and made of aluminum. This ensures that long haired people won't have any problems with the cables getting caught up in their beautiful locks. You will need to look for a different option if you are looking for a vibrant gaming headset.
You also have a variety of connectivity options with the G Pro X, including simple 3.5mm plugs to connect your smartphone or gaming computer, as well as an external USB soundcard that can enhance sound quality and sound quality. You can still use the 3.5mm connectors if you don't have enough USB storage.
The 6mm mic, which can be detached, is my favorite feature of this headset. My cat loves to chew on all hard plastic and metal, so my previous headset was damaged by her unusual habit. To protect the microphone, I can store it in a drawer on my desk thanks to the Pro X's mic that is detached. It's a fantastic feature.
The earpads were the only problem. The ear pads are difficult to replace and can't be used in the headset. Logitech offers only leatherette pads. I recommend that you use them alone. They are too difficult to exchange.

The G Pro X does not come with written instructions, as I have found with other Bluetooth headsets. I would not have discovered the purpose of the USB plug-in if I hadn't looked at Amazon's description. The USB plug-in or audio/mic 3.5mm plugs will work best for you.
Instead of having to write instructions on the cords, little blue stickers are included that highlight different connections options, such as the USB plug, headphones, or smartphone. They show the user which side the cords are. This can be confusing initially. For the longest time I thought that the audio and microphone jacks were the only option for PC play—it wasn't until I was looking at the Amazon page again that I realized the USB port also worked for PC. It is something that I wish I had known sooner.
You also have a slew of connectivity options with the G Pro X, including simple 3.5mm plugs to your smartphone, gaming computer, or an external USB soundcard that will enhance sound quality and sound.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a high-quality headset that will provide a great surround sound experience. Thanks to a mix of 50mm Pro-G drivers and DT HeadphoneX 2.0 surround sound, the Pro X delivered a flawless surround sound experience. This allows you to receive positional audio during your gaming experience. This is crucial for Hellblade games that depend on quality audio.
Another perk—the leatherette pads are passive noise-canceling. The waterfall that cascades from three feet away, my betta fish aquarium's three-foot water tank, is significantly dampened as I listen to music through the G Pro X headset. Even better is this for survival games such as 7 Days to Die where one wrong move can endanger your life.
The audio jack as well as the USB external soundcard work with PCs, however the USB soundcard takes audio to a whole new level.
Logitech chose a minimalist design over investing in high-quality specs. This choice is certainly noticeable. The audio jack as well as the USB external sound cards work with PCs, however the USB soundcard takes audio to a whole new level. This makes the sound more clear and puts all those drivers to good use. It shined on 21 Pilot's "Level of Concern" for those who want to hear bass more clearly in their music.
Blue Voice technology and the USB sound card gave me an unmistakable voice while gaming. My boyfriend was able to hear me in Discord, even during Far Cry 5 or Destiny 2 games. It was even better, as it transmitted without any lag. This is in line with the Logitech promise of real-time voice communications. This can be a huge advantage for gamers who are dedicated to arena games, where communication between teammates is crucial.
Logitech's G ProX leatherette earpads and padded headband gently pressed against my head. However, it wasn't too uncomfortable. They fit snugly enough so they stay on your head. The leatherette passive noise cancelling pads are also well-made. You can adjust the fit to suit your game mood.
The earpads were the only problem. The ear pads are difficult to replace and they don't like being in the headset.
Although the $130 Logitech Pro X gaming headset is more costly than other wired models, it's still reasonably priced considering what it provides. You'll pay twice the price if you need extra features like active noise cancelling, wireless connectivity and high-end audio codescs such as RGB.
You can also check out the Sennheiser Game ONE specs if you want to keep the price down. It costs $140 ($190 MSRP) and is more costly than the X Pro. However, it offers many similar features such as high-fidelity sound, microphone included, and 3.5mm audio jack. The Sennheiser has a little more red than the X Pro. This gives it a playful look that goes well with the great audio features.
The Game ONE headset has some issues. Logitech G X Pro is a great option if you want maximum comfort while gaming. The Sennheiser is a better choice if you prefer an enjoyable design without sacrificing ear comfort.
Comfortable wired gaming headset that is perfect for surround sound.
Logitech's G ProX gaming headset is an excellent investment. It has a solid audio quality and comfortable design that will meet all your voice and gaming needs.
